The three women from Kashmir started this company to make and market the natural personal care product brand- Twani. The stimulus

Unlike the majority of business ventures, this one sprouted from the seeds of compassion for fellow humans. Their successful careers couldn't quieten their social conscience of giving back to the society. A few incidents started that chain reaction. The initial impetus came from pitying condition of a young woman, who suffered serious health issues due to the ignorance and stigma related to menstrual cycles. This kind of apathy made them start health camps and awareness drives in villages with focus on women health and hygiene. They sourced and made available 'Maitreya', quality, affordable sanitary pads, available at their doorstep. Next link in the chain came in the form of a new mother who wanted a natural remedy for her blemished face. This trio researched and came up with a face serum formulated from natural ingredients. It worked and helped the young mother regain her confidence.

The Response

Taking these and a few other incidents as a calling, they gave up their successful careers and plunged into developing this venture, despite it being a bit off the beaten track. They pooled their resources and preserved, bringing to life Octopus Care, an ISO, and GMP & FDCA certified entity that makes truly natural and good for price products with the brand name of Twani.  Adding new items to the range, gradually, the high performance of these products spoke out loud and clear.

Present range of Twani, coined by blending twak(skin) and avani(earth), comprises of face care, body care and hair care products.
