Assamese Singer Rupam Bhuyan Releases Soulful 'Chaya Chobi Chapter 2' Live Music Video Project

GUWAHATI, India - March 4, 2023 - PRLog -- .Assamese singer Rupam Bhuyan has released the much-awaited 'Chaya Chobi Chapter 2' live music video project on February 15, 2023, at the Brahmaputra River Heritage Centre in Guwahati. The project, which was started in December 2022, features four songs by singers Arupjyoti Baruah (Cultivators), Anurag Baruah, Ayan Goswami, and Bidyut Jyoti Mohan. The music was arranged by Jim Ankan Deka, while instruments were played by Bhaskar Saikia, Kalyan Bhattacharjee, Rupam, and Jim. Lyricists involved in the project were Mrinall P Jyoti, Manjyotshna Mahanta Goswami, Keshar Jyoti Das, and Jhunakangkan Bhuyan. The video was directed by Anuprash Das.

The 'Chaya Cobi' project is a live music initiative started by Rupam Bhuyan under the banner of 'Chobi Production' in memory of his late wife, Manashree Baruah. The first episode of the project was released on February 15, 2022. The 'Chaya Chobi' live project is expected to be produced every year by Chobi Production.

Rupam Bhuyan, who is the lead singer of the project, expressed his gratitude towards his fellow musicians and lyricists. He said, "It's been an incredible experience working on this project.
