Think Latitude Partners with Startup Tulsa Foundation to Support Local Entrepreneurs

Think Latitude and Startup Tulsa Foundation Partner to Create New Hub for Entrepreneurs in Tulsa

CHICAGO - July 10, 2023 - PRLog -- Chicago, IL – Think Latitude, a full-service development, consulting, and investment funding firm, today announced a partnership with the Startup Tulsa Foundation. The partnership will provide initial funding and resources to help the Startup Tulsa Foundation grow and scale its mission of supporting local entrepreneurs.

"We are excited to partner with the Startup Tulsa Foundation to help them achieve their goals of growing and supporting the local entrepreneurial ecosystem," said Andy Sajnani, CEO of Think Latitude. "We believe that small businesses are the backbone of the Tulsa economy, and we are committed to helping them succeed."

The Startup Tulsa Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides resources, education, and networking opportunities to local entrepreneurs. The foundation offers a variety of programs and services, including:
  • A mentorship program that matches entrepreneurs with experienced business leaders
  • Access to technology and educational programs on utilizing technology for businesses
  • A distributed accelerator program that provides entrepreneurs with access to capital, mentorship, and other resources
The partnership between Think Latitude and the Startup Tulsa Foundation is a significant step forward for the Tulsa entrepreneurial ecosystem. Together, these two organizations will work to create a cohesive and supportive environment for entrepreneurs in Tulsa.

"One program that has made a positive economic impact has been Tulsa Remote, which incentivizes remote workers by giving them $10,000 to move to Tulsa," said Misha Shah, Director of Operations for Startup Tulsa Foundation. "As of 2022, this program has generated $206.7 million in direct employment income. Small businesses that can grow and scale will have a larger economic impact on the Tulsa Region by renting out commercial real estate, adding more jobs, and making Tulsa more sustainable than any other program initiatives."

The Startup Tulsa Foundation will fill the void for local resources that entrepreneurs have been lacking. The first-of-its-kind non-profit organization will provide local Tulsans with the resources, education, and network they need to start, grow, and scale their small businesses.

Tulsa used to be a booming city from the oil and gas industry, but now it is in need of a new economic driver. Growing smaller businesses to scale up will put Tulsa on the map to become an entrepreneurial hub that is coveted. With accessible resources, lower cost of commercial real estate, and tax incentives for growing your business in Tulsa, small businesses will see value added. The Startup Tulsa Foundation is committed to making this initiative a reality.
