In shock, he stared out through wide eyes and pointed before he weakly grasped the harpoon and slumped over, coughing and spitting up blood. In the moonlight, a figure of a woman stood in defiance on the stern rail, breathing heavily, bleeding from her eyes, ears and nose. Trails of blood from nail holes and ball bearing punctures trickled down her body. The captain and the woman watched as the creature in the net began to struggle again, swinging the net. The woman chopped the net line free from the boat and it vanished under water."

A present-day diver named Mark is clearing abandoned fishing nets when he crosses paths with a mythical creature that will change lives forever.

About the Author: David C. Dagley worked on tugboats in Alaska for over a decade. He has since become a world traveler, diving around the world to catch glimpses of the underwater beauty. Calling on his imagination after experiencing thousands of dives, he wrote this novel. Originally from Mill Valley, California, the author now lives in Indonesia. This is his fifth book and there are more to come.
