Georgia State Representative Locks Arms with 100 Black Trans Men, Inc

ATLANTA - Aug. 20, 2023 - PRLog -- 100 Black Trans Men, Inc. is proud to announce a significant development in its Think Tank's ongoing mission. State Representative Park Cannon, a prominent figure in Georgia's political landscape, has officially joined forces with the Think Tank. This collaboration aims to amplify the voices of Black Transgender Men and champion their reproductive rights.

Representative Cannon's commitment to addressing critical healthcare concerns and advocating for vulnerable communities is widely acknowledged:

Service to the State: Serving the residents of Georgia's House District 58, Rep. Cannon represents a diverse cross-section of intown Atlanta within Fulton County. Notable areas within her jurisdiction include Westview, AUC, The Villages at Castleberry Hill, Vine City, Downtown, Old Fourth Ward, Inman Park, Poncey-Highland, and the West End, among others.

Recognition: In 2021, Rep. Cannon's relentless dedication to her constituents and wider Georgia earned her the prestigious title of "Legislator of the Year" by the National Black Caucus of State Legislators.

Legislative Impact: Historically, Rep. Cannon has been at the forefront of addressing the state's maternal mortality rates and the HIV epidemic. She has spearheaded partnerships and initiatives that ensure accessibility to HIV-preventive treatment like PrEP, funding for HIV health navigators at Grady Hospital, housing affordability, and offering protection to victims of family violence and sexual assault.
