TOLEDO, Ohio - Aug. 22, 2023 - PRLog -- The Regina Patrick Writing Service has published its booklet, Regina's Tips for Better Writing, on Amazon.com. This booklet covers some common grammar mistakes made by native and non-native English speakers and gives tips on how to avoid them.

"I am excited about my book being on Amazon," states founder Regina Patrick. "I have always had a love of language and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics (i.e., the study of language). Long story short, my linguistics background has greatly contributed to and continues to contribute to my current work as a freelance writer and an editor. Over the years, I have come across common errors by native and non-native English speakers, some of which are covered in this book. By the end of the book, readers should have a clearer understanding of when to use which word appropriately."

The book covers some commonly confused (and therefore misused) words and phrases such as when to use compared to versus compared with or comprise versus compose.  In the future, the Regina Patrick Writing Service plans to publish more books on other commonly confused words that are not covered in this book.
