AKCP Monitoring for Mefar Pharmaceutical - Turkey

ANKARA, Turkey - Nov. 2, 2023 - PRLog -- The requirement was to monitor temperature and humidity in their server room and the status of two UPS and electrical panels. The solution provided utilized the AKCP sensorProbe1+ (SP1+) with built-in temperature sensor and dry contact. For the UPS and electrical panel, a sensorProbeX+ (SPX+) was installed. This customized SPX+ consisted of a 4G cellular modem, with built in backup battery power, 8 sensor ports and 10 dry contact module.

The 4G cellular modem allows alerts to be sent via e-mail and SMS without the need for the local area network. The built-in battery backup means that even if all other local networks are down, the SPX+ can still communicate to alert the operator, even in the absence of power.

An AC Voltage Sensor on the SPX+ monitors the building power supply and alerts if there is a power outage, allowing rapid response to critical power issues, ensuring the cold chain and clean rooms remain in operation.

A Dual Temperature and Humidity Sensor (https://www.akcp.com/akcp-products/single-port-temperature-humidity-sensor/) on the SPX+ monitors the environmental conditions in the server room to give advance notice should cooling systems fail, which can lead to shutdown of critical equipment.
