IND-SWIFT Labs collaborates with CSIR-IMTECH for development of Biotransformation Process

CHANDIGARH, India - Nov. 30, 2023 - PRLog -- IND-SWIFT LABORATORIES LIMITED COLLABORATES WITH CSIR-IMTECH FOR DEVELOPMENT OF BIOTRANSFORMATION PROCESS (ENZYMATIC PROCESS)

Pharma Major, Ind-Swift Laboratories Limited has collaborated with The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) - Institute of Microbial Technology (IMTECH), a premier microbial institute under the aegis of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, for development of Biotransformation Process (Enzymatic Process) for its products.

The agreement between Ind-Swift and CSIR-IMTECH will enable scientists from both the organizations to work closely on development of Biotransformation process (Enzymatic Process) for its products. For this project, scientists at IMTECH will utilize their expertise and scientific know how in microbiology while Ind-Swift team will provide its expertise in process chemistry & pharmaceutical drug development's analytical resources.

The Technical teams of CSIR-IMTECH headed by Dr. Sanjeev Khosla, Director CSIR-IMTECH, Dr. Mani Shankar Bhattacharya, Principal Scientists, CSIR-IMTECH and Ind-Swift Laboratories Limited headed by its Chairman and Managing Director, Sh. N.R. Munjal, CEO Sh. Sunil Deshmukh, Dr Ashok Prasad, Head-R&D met at Chandigarh today and exchanged project agreement.

Speaking on the occasion Sh. N.R. Munjal, Chairman and Managing Director Ind-Swift Laboratories expressed that "The field of biotransformation process (Enzymatic Process) is an alternative to traditional chemical processes. This collaboration presents a unique opportunity to enhance our capabilities, drive innovation, and optimize production processes. This approach aligns with the growing demand for eco-friendly and efficient manufacturing in the pharmaceutical sector."
