Exodus Ventures acquires Inversiones Playa Grande (Playa Grande Investments)

PANAMA CITY - Dec. 16, 2023 - PRLog -- Exodus Island Ventures (EIV), a thriving Panamanian private investment firm, has announced its acquisition, through merger, of Inversiones Plana Grande (IPG) aka "Playa Grande Investments", a shadowy yet prominent Dominican Republic real estate and development company.  Capital injection from Exodus unlocks the scale and growth potential IPG has awaited for years to realize.

While financial details of the deal were not disclosed, the merger represents Exodus' first major expansion into the Caribbean real estate market and offers access to IPG's comprehensive suite of brokerage, development, and property management services.  "We are very excited about this strategic partnership and the growth opportunities it unlocks for IPG," said Jeanette Garcia Blanco, of Inversiones Playa Grande. Founded in 2015, Exodus has quickly established itself as a major player in Central American markets with its strategy of targeted investments in high-growth industries like logistics, energy, and tourism. However, this new merger marks a dedicated shift into regional real estate as well as Exodus' first presence outside of Panama.

IPG, the acquired Dominican firm, has operated for over a decade on the DR's northern coast, becoming a haven for luxury resorts, second homes, and investment properties. IPG offers integrated real estate services encompassing inspection, insurance, legal work, mortgage lending, maintenance services, and more.
