MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - March 13, 2024 - PRLog -- Franklin/Kerr Press is thrilled to announce the upcoming release of Caleb Wygal's fourth entry into this exciting series that has left readers all around the Grand Strand and fans of Myrtle Beach craving more. Death on the Causeway picks up several months after the events of Book 3:Death on the Golden Mile.

Each book in the series has had themes related to Myrtle Beach: the hospitality industry,
entertainment, and fine arts. Death on the Causeway explores a theme that the Grand Strand is well-known for - restaurants.

"My wife and I consider ourselves to be amateur foodies," Wygal says. "We even run a Myrtle Beach Foodie Instagram account together. When thinking of a theme for this book, exploring restaurants through the lens of a Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives type couple seemed like a natural and fun environment in which to tell a captivating story."

In Death on the Causeway, the writer takes the main character, Clark Thomas, on a chase up and down the Grand Strand as he tries to help a beautiful young restaurant food vlogger far away from home separated from her fiancé. Clark learns quickly that the fiancé's disappearance might be part of a grander diabolical scheme. Filled with Wygal's characteristic humor and fast, fun writing style, Death on the Causeway is a powerful entry to the Myrtle Beach Mystery Series.

Death on the Causeway will release on May 9, 2023 and will be available for preorder at
Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Books-A-Million in paperback for $14.99, hardcover for
$19.99, and on Amazon's Kindle for $3.99.

The book will be Wygal's eighth overall, and he is working on the fifth book in the series, Death at Tidal Creek.

"Caleb has done it again. This might be his best yet!" Jordon Greene, publisher of Franklin/KerrPress, said.
