Maximizing the Green Rush: Texas Summit Focuses on Revenue Strategies for Renewable Energy

Renewable energy leaders from across the USA will gather in Texas on 10-11 April to discuss how to optimize renewable energy revenues. Texas ranked third for new solar installations according to industry association, SEIA reflecting billions

DALLAS - March 29, 2024 - PRLog -- "We understand the significant role Texas plays in the national Texan economic landscape," says Jo Wilkinson, director of event content at Solar Media. 2023 data provided by the Texas Association of Business (TAB), Advanced Power Alliance (APA) and Conservative Texans for Energy Innovation (CTEI) assessed local tax and landowner payment and indicated that utility-scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects in Texas are estimated to generate $7.2–$8.8 billion in new tax revenue to local communities. If asset owners can optimize these assets and the offtake agreements around them, both their revenues and incoming tax revenues to local communities will be improved.

10-11 April will see the Renewable Energy Revenues Summit, a unique opportunity for large energy buyers and industry leaders to connect at the Marriott Dallas Las Colinas. Discussions will centre around optimizing revenues, offtake agreements, the pathway to 100% renewables for large energy buyers, large energy buyers' renewable procurement strategies, the role of storage in improving revenues and how renewable asset owners are optimizing large portfolios of assets across different energy markets in the USA.
