Meridian Waste Expands North Carolina Footprint Acquiring Carolina Waste Services

RALEIGH, N.C. - April 1, 2024 - PRLog -- Meridian Waste North Carolina LLC, an integrated, non-hazardous solid waste services company, has announced the acquisition of Carolina Waste Services, Inc., also known as Carolina Waste, effective today. The asset purchase includes residential and roll off collection vehicles, containers, and contracts located in Moore, Chatham, and Lee Counties, NC. The assets and services will be relocated to Meridian Waste's existing hauling company at 13415 US-421 North in Goldston, NC. Operational staff will transition to Meridian Waste.

We are combining the existing company culture and quality operations with the start-up of our first North Carolina residential contract with the Town of Southern Pines commencing January 1, 2025," said Gray.
