" A Legacy of Holistic Care for the Community T.H.E. began in 1974 with a single clinic in South Los Angeles, offering care to women in South Los Angeles. Over the years, they've grown to encompass six clinics across the city, treating over 13,000 patients annually. Their holistic approach focuses on preventive care, primary care, and behavioral health services, empowering patients to take charge of their well-being. They further serve the community by offering educational classes on various health topics. Thanking Those Who Made a Difference In a unique twist on traditional anniversary galas, T.H.E. partnered with Event Solutions to host a "legacy luncheon" to celebrate their 50th year. The event focused on expressing gratitude to the individuals and organizations who have supported their mission. "We wanted to do something different," said Clifford Shiepe. The luncheon featured prominent figures like U.S. Representative Maxine Waters and Deputy Mayor Jacqueline Hamilton, who all acknowledged the vital role T.H.E. plays in providing healthcare access to underserved communities.
