National Collegiate Entertainers Group Leaves Lasting Impact on Georgia's Colleges and Universities

ATLANTA - April 17, 2024 - PRLog -- Since its founding in 2013 by Georgia State University students, the National Collegiate Entertainers Group (NCEG) has spearheaded a revolution in music education and entrepreneurship on college campuses. What started small has now grown into a nationwide movement, reaching prestigious institutions like Georgia Tech, Kennesaw State University, Georgia Gwinnett College, and the Atlanta University Center (AUC), comprising Clark University and Morehouse College.

NCEG's mission is to offer students unparalleled opportunities to engage with the music industry while pursuing their academic goals. At the heart of NCEG's initiatives is its Chapter Program, connecting students from various majors to produce music and organize events on campuses nationwide.

"Since 2013, NCEG has been dedicated to nurturing students' talents and ambitions in the music industry," says Founder Derek Jackson. "Our model emphasizes practical experience and insights regardless of major. Whether interested in music entrepreneurship, marketing, artist management, A&R, publishing, or aspiring to be a recording artist, NCEG welcomes you."

Since 2023, NCEG has welcomed over 150 new chapter members, further expanding its impact. Many students mentored by NCEG have become successful artists, entertainers, and entrepreneurs within the music industry.

NCEG prioritizes hands-on learning and peer collaboration, providing networking opportunities and a supportive community for career growth. Participants not only gain essential skills but also emerge as industry leaders.

"Focused on preparing students for Georgia's vibrant entertainment sector, NCEG acts as a springboard for aspiring professionals," says CMO Dasha Ware. "Through collaboration with peers, students enhance their college experience and build reputations that benefit them after graduation."

NCEG has organized various events, including educational panels, workshops, and the MOGULS Music Competitions, which have launched emerging artists' careers. The competitions, featuring over 100 talents from the Chapter Program, are judged by industry veterans, identifying exceptional talents from diverse colleges and universities.

"Our evaluations, scored on a 100-point scale, consistently predict future success, with artists averaging 70," concludes Founder Derek Jackson. "With gifted artists across genres gracing our stages, NCEG continues to shape music education and entrepreneurship."

In 2024, NCEG aims to expand its influence to more colleges and universities nationwide, inspiring students to pursue their passions and contribute to the entertainment industry's future.

"Our algorithmic evaluations, scored on a 100-point scale, with the artists completing with a standardized average of 70, which have proven to be reliable indicators of potential future success," Founder, Derek Jackson concludes. "With various exceptionally gifted artists across genres gracing our stages, NCEG continues to shape the landscape of music education and entrepreneurship."

In 2024, NCEG plans to expand its influence across numerous colleges and universities throughout the nation, with the goal of inspiring students to follow their interests and contribute to shaping the future of the entertainment industry. Learn more at http://www.nceg.org.
