CHARLOTTE, N.C. - April 26, 2024 - PRLog -- What would your professional and personal life look like if you had the guidance of a Pulitzer-prize winning editor, writer and author who also happens to have been a Marine gunnery sergeant, and successful executive coach at your disposal whenever you need it?

Thanks to a new book, you can! PROCTORisms: A Marine Who Growls, Writes Love Poems, Builds Leaders and Spouts Wisdom by author Glenn Proctor encapsulates the words of wisdom that he has given during keynotes, classes, workshops and as reminders over the past 40+ years.

"After corralling many of these from my books and writings, scraps of paper in old binders, and emails and texts sent to dozens of folks as motivators, they've landed in one place," Proctor notes. "The goal is to draw laughs, find perspective and create strength to help us think about our lives, careers, family relationships, self-leadership and the simple joys that bring smiles and opportunities."

As Trish Stukbauer, author, editor, consultant, and Proctor's Creative Partner in REDDjobb notes, "Sometimes poignant, often funny, and always thought-provoking, these PROCTORisms have given countless executives, entrepreneurs, professionals and students things to ponder and work on improving over the years. Perhaps most importantly, there is a real story behind each of the messages this book contains."

With quips like, "The thing to remember about the curves, turns, stops and starts of life is that you're doing the driving," Proctor reminds readers that they control their own destiny – and this book gives them the tools to do that.
