The Britt Kearce Memorial Scholarship Uplifts Metro Atlanta Baseball Community

ROSWELL, Ga. - April 28, 2024 - PRLog -- The Britt Kearce Memorial Scholarship, established in memory of the beloved Coach Britt Kearce, is proud to announce the launch of its annual scholarship program for graduating high school seniors in the Metro Atlanta area. The program honors Coach Kearce's legacy and unwavering dedication to the baseball community by providing financial assistance to deserving student-athletes. In honor of Coach Britt's favorite number, the fund will award scholarships to three lucky selected students in the amount of $3,000 each.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria

Graduating high school seniors from the Metro Atlanta area who have been involved in the local baseball community are encouraged to apply. However, applications are open to the entire state of Georgia. Selection criteria will focus on a candidate's involvement in baseball, academic achievement, community involvement, and a letter of recommendation highlighting their dedication to the game and its values. Scholarship applicants are not obligated to continue playing baseball during their college years.

Applications for the Britt Kearce Memorial Scholarship will be open Summer 2024.
