ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - May 2, 2024 - PRLog -- Bill Edwards Foundation for the Arts is pleased to announce the last BAM! Of the 30th Anniversary Season: BAM! Safety First Festival, set to take place on Tuesday, May 21, from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Mahaffey Theater plaza.

BAM! Safety First Festival, where "BAM!" stands for Books, Arts, Music, marks a collaborative effort between the Foundation and the St. Petersburg Police Department. This innovative event aims to educate children on crucial topics such as substance abuse, mental health, wellness, and crime prevention. Through dynamic workshops, interactive activities, and positive interactions with law enforcement, attendees will gain valuable life skills and knowledge. Join us for Lunch & Learn sessions to delve deeper into fostering a safer and more informed community during this groundbreaking festival.

The educational series provided by  Bill Edwards Foundation for the Arts offers free access to students across the six-county Tampa Bay area for more than 30 years. Each themed field trip is meticulously crafted to promote connection, creativity, imagination, and social-emotional learning.
