By: Veterans for America First Veterans for America First (VFAF), through its national volunteer initiative Vet Force, has mounted a bold and boots-on-the- In the critical early days of the disaster, Moyers and her team delivered seven fully loaded trucks and three trailers of essential supplies, bringing immediate relief to families in urgent need. Operations were based out of VFW Post 8800 in Startzville, which became the only functioning distribution center in the area. Thanks to the leadership of Vet Force, the post served as a vital lifeline for the region. "Our veterans are trained to respond under pressure. When Americans hurt, our Veterans step up. That's why Kimberly Taiko Moyers and her team are on-site in Texas, coordinating aid efforts," said CPT Robert M. Cornicelli, USARNG (Ret.) / Navy Veteran and President of VFAF. As the mission evolved, so too did its focus—from supply distribution to the more somber task of body recovery. In a powerful video update from the field, Moyers documented the heart-wrenching reality on the ground, reaffirming the commitment of VFAF's veteran-led teams to serve in the most difficult conditions. In addition to her role with Vet Force, Moyers also serves through Project Defiant, continuing her work to support local communities and advocate for veteran-related legislation. The Vet Force program, launched in January 2025, is modeled after the "Trump Force 47" campaign concept. It brings together veterans, law enforcement, and patriotic civilians into rapid-response volunteer teams for emergency relief, public safety, voter education, youth mentoring, and advancing America First policies. Jen Charlton, VFAF National Ambassador and host of The Jen Charlton Show on WFMD AM in Maryland, led Maryland-based support efforts. Drawing on her emergency management experience and media platform, Charlton helped collect and direct needed supplies to Moyers' Texas field teams. Working in partnership with Fred Propheter of the Frederick County Conservative Club, she ensured a steady flow of aid from Maryland to Texas. VFAF emphasized that it is a self-funded, all-volunteer organization: This united response by veteran leaders, grassroots organizations, and patriotic Americans reflects the core mission of VFAF: to serve our nation with honor, resilience, and unwavering dedication to the American people. https://youtu.be/ End
