Snowbird Technologies Joins the Amphibious Warship Industrial Base Coalition

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - April 29, 2024 - PRLog -- Snowbird Technologies today announced that it has joined the Amphibious Warship Industrial Base Coalition, recognized as AWIBC, to strengthen its network with the United States Navy and the companies that supply parts to build and maintain amphibious warships.

AWIBC is comprised of more than 650 companies in 39 states and over 249 congressional districts nationwide that provide parts worth over $1.7 billion for the construction of amphibious warships. Members have access to opportunities focused on developing and maturing technologies in maritime sustainment that enhance the Navy's mission effectiveness. Membership eligibility requires status as an approved supplier to the Qualified Shipbuilder of U.S. Navy amphibious warships and is restricted to suppliers.

Snowbird Technologies has been a reliable equipment manufacturer and supplier to the United States Navy since 1992, designing and fabricating environmental control systems for amphibious warship vehicles, shelter systems, and electronic systems.
