Mosquito Joe of Braintree-Weymouth celebrates sixth anniversary in business

BRAINTREE, Mass. - May 13, 2024 - PRLog -- Mosquito Joe of Braintree-Weymouth (https://braintree-weymouth.mosquitojoe.com/), an experienced outdoor pest control company, is celebrating its sixth anniversary.

Owner and founder Jodi Elliott, a Hull, MA resident, launched the business in 2018. The company originally included Elliott, her daughter Ash, one van and one technician. The next year the company added another technician and two vehicles. In 2024, the company has expanded to include seven vehicles and six technicians, and there are plans to add two electric/hybrid vehicles to the fleet this spring.

Prior to launching Mosquito Joe of Braintree-Weymouth, Elliott worked in corporate America. She holds a BA in Communications from the University of Massachusetts as well as a BBA in Marketing from the Isenberg School of Management, and a Masters in Finance from Nichols College.

Recently, Elliott launched a second business, Wonderly Lights, which assists homeowners and businesses with putting up holiday lights and displays. "Because mosquito and tick control is a seasonal business, we wanted another opportunity to keep our crew employed year round," she said, noting that it is not uncommon for pest control companies to lay off their workers when the season ends. Mosquito Joe of Braintree-Weymouth keeps their employees working year round.
