Cyber Monday How PODs Are Missing the Boat

Nov. 26, 2007 - PRLog -- Black Friday is a long time favorite shopping day because of the brick and mortar shop sales and leaders. People wait for these sales and spend and save money by the millions.

Enter internet  shopping where there is no brick and mortar store and customers can shop in the luxury of their bedroom slippers and bathrobe or on their lunch hour at work without ever leaving their desk. While many of the brick and mortar stores DO have internet websites for online shopping -the Print on Demand (POD) Stores are solely internet based and depend completely on their internet customers. More the reason to have leader sales for Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

Cyber Monday is a naturally made  shopping day specifically for internet shopping and the most popular POD companies are missing the boat so to speak because of the lack of advertising and gearing up for special saving sales or free shipping offers for Cyber Monday.

After checking through the most popular Print on Demand companies; Cafepress, Printfection, Zazzle and Imagekind, I find no  special announcement for Cyber Monday sales or Cyber Monday Free Shipping. Although I have seen some individual POD Shop sales advertised by consumer desired savvy Shopkeepers who know what the customers are looking for.

One such Niche Shop at Cafepress for goat lovers merchandise  www.GetYerGoat.com Not only is  offering a Cyber Monday Sale but extending it beyond Monday to Wednesday.  Also note that this same shop had the foresight to offer a Black Friday weekend sale for their customers. Now, That is the avenue the POD companies themselves should offer company wide.

So, while you are surfing through your internet based  shopping favorites, take note if they offer Cyber Monday Specials of some sort for your savings benefit, and if the company is individual shopkeeper based such as Cafepress,  Printfection, Zazzle and Imagekind- take note of the shops who are offering special sales because these shopkeepers are offering you money saving deals  that come out of their pocket!   SO appreciate those savvy shops and spread the word to your friends those who do and those who do not offer you the best buys you can get for the Holidays.
