Fans in Arizona will be able to have a sneak peak at The Active Set's new EP that includes, "Better Brigade", "Escape Act" "Truth Hurts" and "I'm not coming". All tracks with a radiantly new perpspective on indie rock, reminiscent of The Cure and the Smiths. About the highly anticipated EP and tour, band leader Matthew Stolarz says: “We're excited to come to Austin and bring audiences our upbeat take on indie. Some people take themselves too seriously, but we believe that music can be intelligent and energetic and can really create lasting, positive change.” “Waging a war on wasting away” has become their motto and a message that is prevalent throughout the EP. http://www.myspace.com/ The Active Set members are thrilled about the excitement the tour is generating in Arizona and Texas.
