Burbank, CA –  Burbank based screenwriting contest, Movie Script Contest was

recently acknowledged for its efforts in helping aspiring screenwriters overcome

barriers to Hollywood and getting winning writers’ work in front of tinsel town's top

producers.


The Mayor of the City of Burbank, Marsha R. Ramos has released a proclamation

honoring Movie Script Contest for “their strength in finding and promoting producible,

winning screenplays and getting that material to companies who have the power and

connections to make it happen”. And congratulating the Movie Script Contest team for

the launch of the 2008 feature-length contest.


Movie Script Contest founder, Jason N. Zimmatore says, “Our mission is to make

Hollywood more accessible than ever before by connecting writers with our strategic

alliance of producers, literary managers and agents”.  


Writers from all over the world enter Movie Script Contest.com with short and feature-

length screenplays.  The feature length category gives The Golden Brad Award in

the following genre categories: Drama, Thriller, Adventure/ SciFi.
