National Recording Artist Steven Ybarra Performs Live At Wyland's Environmental Celebration

March 13, 2008 - PRLog -- CARLSBAD, CA – The Wyland Foundation will be in San Diego to celebrate their 15th Anniversary, and hold their prestigious ''Ambassador for the Planet'' Awards Ceremony, honoring those dedicated to preserving our global resources.  The event will be held April  20, 2008 at Birch Aquarium at Scripps, UC San Diego, 2300 Expedition Way, La Jolla, California 92037 (858-534-3474).  The public is invited for live music, global cuisine, and an opportunity to bid on original Wyland art, as well as many silent auction items.  All proceeds will benefit the Wyland Foundation art and education programs.


         Steven Ybarra will be performing from 6 pm to 7 pm at the VIP reception.  As heard on NBC, ESPN, MTV and all over the radio, Steven Ybarra is a meteor of musical talent showering us with a heartfelt group of songs from his just-released new album Love Love Love- Songs with uplifting, positive messages evolving from themes of struggle, perseverance, and love.  Moving tunes like “Good Thing” and “Please Please” jump off the CD to reveal an honest singer-songwriter making the very most of his refined craft.  Steven’s outstanding musicianship and vocal nuancing make him shine among contemporary artists.
