Follow on Google News | Oliver Maldonado & Howie Drummond of the Alice 105.9 Morning Show Become Partners on Indie MovieHowie announced on Air on The Alice Morning Show that he’ll be in a Local Independent Film About Bigfoot and his partnership with Oliver. He also announced that BJ Harris, Jennifer Wilde and Producer Mikey will also have roles in the Movie.
“Howie is the exact person I wrote the role for. I’ve been a big fan of the show for a long time and he has the personality, talent and vision I was looking for. Not everyone can pull something like this off and believe it or not, we’re on the same page. We were finishing each others sentences from the very beginning. It’s the right fit for both of us! Some people aren’t taking us seriously, but they’re going to be very surprised when this project is completed and we’re accepted in Sundance Film Festival! We’ve already had a HUGE overwlhelming response from local business people, actors and bands that want to be a part of this project. Howie also has a huge following from his radio show and brings a lot to the table. Initially he was only going to play a role in the film, but after our conversations, we decided to become partners.” Said Oliver Maldonado when asked about why he selected Howie Drummond for the film. Howie Drummond said, “If we don’t make it into Sundance Film Festival I’ll consider this a failure. Not really a failure, this has been something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time, and this is the right film and is the right time. Even if we don’t make it into Sundance, it’ll be a success, we’ve already generated a lot of press and a lot of people are very interested in seeing this documentary be successful, Oliver’s and my primary objective is to get it into Sundance.” Oliver Maldonado is a local businessman and Author who retired at 32 from his successful sales & marketing career. “The bottom line is, I’ve been extremely bored after retiring. I knew it was a temporary retirement, I was too young to retire for ever, but I’ve become bored and needed a new project to work on. It’s been one of my dreams to make an independent film and now once again I’m living one of my dreams. I was just at Sundance Film Festival this year and was surprised to see and hear about some of the films that were accepted. My film has so much more going for itself than most indie films that don’t have a famous name attached to it or a big budget. I’ll let you in on a little secret, I’m going to break some records with my indie film! Mark my words, when this comes out, independent filmmakers from around the Country will want to know how I did it!” Said Oliver when asked about his movie.
