Oliver Maldonado Announces the Website of his First Indie Film ColoradoBigFootDocumentary.com

April 23, 2008 - PRLog -- There have been many Bigfoot sightings in Colorado over the past decade and one of the most infomous sightings and encounters occured in a small town just outside of Colorado Springs called "Green Mountain Falls".

The sighting and encounter in Green Mountain Falls created so much publicity that "Unsolved Mysteries" filmed an episode in the town around the Bigfoot encounter and interviewed local townspeople about it.
To this day, the sheriff carries maps that he hands out to tourists that want to know where the Bigfoot sighting was at. The map is clearly marked with an x marking the spot of the Bigfoot encounter.

While watching television late one night, Oliver Maldonado a Colorado writer and retired businessman by age 32 saw several documentaries about Bigfoot on the History and Discovery Channels.

"I was surprised to see all of these new documentaries about Bigfoot. Bigfoot has been a phenomenom for a long time, but it's funny because most of the past documentaries have been old ones, and now each of the ones I've seen recently were all filmed in 2008, which surprised me. What surprised me even more is how some of these so called experts where trying to find Bigfoot, one was using only women to see if Bigfoot would smell them and want to "Mate" or something? Another was this scientist who was going to use "cdroms" to try and attract him? Exactly!

These are real experts and real documentaries were real ones with big budgets and appearing on real educational channels like Discovery and History channel. So if these people can get this nonesense on television, I should be able to put together an expedition to use better methods to attract and hunt bigfoot! This is where I got the idea for the ColoradoBigFootDocumentary.com and why I also launched the website." Said Oliver when asked how he got the idea for his first indie film.

Oliver then recruited a Colorado DJ by the name of Howie Drummond that has the #1 Morning Show on Alice 105.9 to also be a part of the Documentary and now Oliver Maldonado and Howie have created a partnership together with this being their first project among many others.

"This is a Colorado Movie with real Coloradoans and Real Colorado Companies. We want to make a movie about Colorado from Colorado and with Colorado Businesses. Right now, we're in negotiations with another Colorado Company, "Crocs" to be able to use their products and hopefully they'll donate the gear that is needed for the project. Not only would this be a great opportunity for Crocs as far as publicity goes, but hopefully it will also use their brand to help promote each other." Said Oliver when asked what other Colorado Companies might be involved.

So far the Oliver & Howies Movie is making big waves and generating a ton of publicity for the first time Colorado Filmmakers.

Oliver Maldonado is currently searching for other Colorado businesses such as restaurants and maybe even "Coors Brewery" to sponsor a Mansion scene where the sponsors products would appear in the movie and also receive publicity from being part of the project.

Colorado Bands are currently submitting their music to be 1 of 5 Colorado bands that will appear on the soundtrack with one special band appearing in the movie as well as part of the Mansion Scene.
