Healer Samara Anjelae visits Local Library

May 5, 2008 - PRLog -- How does Reiki heall? Join Reiki Master/Teacher, Samara Anjelae, on Thursday, May 22nd at 6:30 pm at the Paris-Bourbon Library as she, and several other Reiki practitioners will explain and administer the laying-on–hands, specifically Reiki. Please join us for this free program in the library’s Community Room. Everyone who attends will get to experience a few minutes of Reiki and have the chance to ask questions about natural healing. Reiki, (pronounced ray-key)  is an ancient Japanese treatment used for healing. Reiki is a spiritually guided life force energy that treats the whole person including body, emotion, mind and spirit. Reiki benefits include: providing relief or healing from acute or chronic pain, enhancing and strengthening the immune system, removing blocked and negative energy, and reducing stress.  According to a recent survey, more than four out of ten people in the United States visited alternative medicine practitioners last year. “This trend,” says Anjelae,  “is only growing and replacing or complementing traditional Western medicine.” Anjelae’s office is located at 527 South Upper Street in Lexington. For more information on Samara, Reiki and her services visit http://www.samarasays.com. For more information on this and other free programs please visit the library’s website http://www.bourbonlibrary.org or call 859-987-4410. The library is located in downtown Paris.
