Local Filmmaker Receives Award at New York Film and Video Festival

Rich Butterfoss receives Best Arts Documentary for Twisted Logic at the New York International Film and Video Festival.
 
June 9, 2008 - PRLog -- EAST WINDSOR,  –  Twisted Logic presents the creation of the work of Patrick Dougherty, renowned international sculptor, during at three-month period at the Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton, NJ,  founded by J. Seward Johnson. This effort involved hundreds of volunteers and the use of saplings to create a wonderful variety of unique pieces.  

Twisted Logic also received a Telly Award and a Davey Award.  Butterfoss will receive his latest award at a party on June 25, 2008 given by the New York International Film and video Festival staff.  It features the music of Maggi Hill.  Rich butterfoss is the executive producer of BG & V Productions in Pennington, NJ.  He is also the creator of the Le Jardin series about the works of other sculptors also featured at the Grounds for Sculpture.

Butterfoss states, “My goal was to get into the heads of Patrick and his volunteers, and to show the interaction of Patrick with the viewers.  Patrick is a wonderful spirit as most sculptors are.  Spending time with them is relaxing and inspiring.  This film ties in the themes of environment and art.”
