New AutoX Racing Team Formed

A new Autocross (AutoX) racing team has been assembled and is the first ever to compete with a 2008 Chevrolet HHR SS.

June 12, 2008 - PRLog -- An online community and apparel shop called "Dirty Tractor" has announced the formation of a new Autocross (AutoX) racing team. They will be competing with a 2008 Chevrolet HHR SS; the first in the world to do so.

Based in Ashburn, VA, the chosen drivers this season are Robert Lowers in the male group and Jill Cillan racing in the female category.

"The Dirty Tractor cause and story really hit home for both of us," stated Lowers. "The fact they are helping fight liver disease and have such a unique online community established made the decision to name the team after them easy; almost as easy as I make going around the track seem" he joked.

Dirty Tractor Racing will compete at least once a month in the Greater Washington Section-Mercedes Benz Club of America autocross circuit, running from mid April to mid November. They are up against tuned Mercedes, Porches, Mazdas, and other track-proven vehicles.
