Natural Fine Furnishings Exhibits at New York International Gift Fair

July 3, 2008 - PRLog -- Natural Fine Furnishings, an eco-friendly company, proudly sells a line of environmentally friendly “green” sustainable wood furnishings and accessories, which are unique, and 100 percent natural. The collection includes stools & display stands, end tables, wall panels, natural edge tables & benches, farm teak spa items and decorative accessories.
    We pride ourselves in selling items that are as individual as the settings they grace.  In order to do this, we travel to the other side of the globe to find the remarkable pieces.  The wood products are hand-carved from the Chiang Mai area in northern Thailand, where skilled craftsmen create these one-of-a-kind pieces with the simplest of tools. What these craftsmen accomplish is extraordinary. Many of the items resemble a piece of art as much as a piece of furniture!  
    To top it off, products are hand-carved from sustainable, kiln-dried wood grown specifically for the woodcarving and furniture industry (monkey pod, teak and mango wood). Only the branches of the Monkey Pod tree are utilized during the creation of the pieces, which allows the trees to replenish their limbs for years of continued growth.  That means our pieces are eco-friendly as well as stylish!
    “Each piece is beautiful and has special qualities to it,” says Rob Khoury, Company Spokesperson.  “All of the items are natural and might have slight variations to them.  Depending on the country of origin of the tree, the wood colors vary.  Fluctuations in humidity and temperature levels could result in naturally small cracks appearing in the grain over time.  This is normal and adds to the uniqueness to each item”.
