OnTrac appointed as the India partner to market University of Cambridge’s BULATS

OnTrac is the first training provider for IT/BPO organisations in India tying up with Cambridge’s ESOL, a department which deals with teaching English to Speakers of Other Language It will service the corporate business space as a BULATS agent

July 7, 2008 - PRLog -- OnTrac, a leading provider of Operations oriented training and certification programs for mid level managers in the BPO industry today announced the tie up with University of Cambridge’s ESOL Examinations (Cambridge ESOL), to market BULATS (Business Language Testing Service) in India. OnTrac is the first training provider in India to bag this. The company will concentrate on the corporate business space predominantly in the IT, BPO, Hospitality and Retail sector.

Mr. Ravi Venkatesam, CEO, OnTrac and Dr Duncan Rayner, Development Manager Asia, Cambridge ESOL announced the tie-up at the Nasscom HR Summit in Chennai.

BULATS stands for the Business Language Testing Service, owned by University of Cambridge ESOL. BULATS is used by businesses in over 30 countries for recruitment, training, benchmarking and staff development. There are tests in 4 languages: English, French, German and Spanish. The Standard Test and the Computer Test include questions on listening, reading and language knowledge. The Writing and Speaking Tests are separate and stand alone.
