14-year old Abuse Survivor Launches T-Shirt Websites To Help Victims of Sexual Assault

July 16, 2008 - PRLog -- Who hasn’t seen the press about all the muggings, rapes and killings in cities across the United States?  Have there been any of these crimes in your city or town?  Have you personally been affected by crime? Today, everyone is touched, one way or another, by sexual assault.  They have either been faced with the devastation of being assaulted or know someone who has.  One in 10 houses is affected by sexual assault and a child is sexually assaulted every 2 minutes.  Do you think this is all stranger danger?  Sorry to say, statistics show 90% of all assaults are by people known to the victims.  Unfortunately, these crimes are either not reported (88%) or are not prosecuted (only 1 in 16 CSA cases are criminally prosecuted with only 6% of those people ever going to jail!).    It is time to fight back!
