Steven Ybarra Among Stellar Performers For “Bridget’s Music Garden” Food Drive in San Diego

National recording artist Steven Ybarra will perform at San Diego's upscale Anthology Music and Dining venue for the Bridget's Music Garden food drive benefit.

July 20, 2008 - PRLog -- San Diego, CA  –  Some of San Diego’s hottest performers are among a smorgasbord of great musical talent to sing in "Bridget's Music Garden" - a series celebrating original songwriters, spearheaded by songstress Bridget Brigitte.  The event, held on August 19, 2008 at the upscale Anthology restaurant in downtown’s Little Italy, is a food drive benefit for the San Diego Food Bank and Women's International Center.
 
         Among the glittering lineup is the mesmerizing national recording artist Steven Ybarra, a shining star among contemporary artists for his signature vocal intimacy, outstanding musicianship, and cross-genre songs, spanning Christian pop to adult contemporary.  Steven’s talents have garnered him several San Diego Music Awards, and was honored with a  Platinum Prize by the San Diego Songwriter’s Guild.  His newly released CD, Love Love Love, is a stunning collection of heartfelt songs with soulful messages of hope, love, and compassion.  

“We want to offer the public a fun way to help out a great cause. There are
people right here in our communities that are going hungry.  We hope to have a large turnout to help these life-saving charities,” states Ybarra.

                        The performer line-up for the show is as follows:

7:30-8:00 pm -  Bridget Brigitte (Melodic Pop)  
8:00-8:30 pm -  Cynthia Hammond (Jazz)  
8:30- 9:00 pm - Steven Ybarra (Singer/Songwriter)  
9:00- 9:30 pm - Lindsay Yung (Singer/Songwriter)  
9:30-10:00 pm - Candice Graham (Country Rock)

   Anthology’s doors open at 5:30 pm for drinks & dinner. (Dinner reservations are recommended).  This is an all-ages show - tickets are $14.  Tickets will be sold at Anthology, 1338 India Street, San Diego, CA and online at www.anthologysd.com.  Receptacles will be set up at Anthology for canned food donations (meat, fruit, & vegetables preferred).  So why not clean out your pantry, help the hungry, and stop by for an evening of great music for a great cause?  After all, music is also food for the soul.
