By: Fameo Ltd Highlights of the catwalk event will be shown on QVC TV shopping channel 630, on Tuesday 22nd July at 10am and 4pm. Fameo, one of the finalists in the competition won the Bridal Jewellery of the Year award with their ‘Imperial Wedding’ Collection, which offers a mix of imperial morganite and princess-cut diamonds and the ‘Tsarina’ Collection which combines pinkish pearls and gold with diamonds. “Any bride would really be proud to wear this jewellery on her wedding day” enthused one judge. “There is a real sense of romance about these pieces”. The concept behind Fameo’s ‘Imperial Wedding’ collection is the thoughts and dreams of the perfect fairy tale wedding. Louise Davies, designer and director of Fameo comments “the wedding day is one the most important days of your life and achieving the perfect look is paramount to the way you feel on the day, which should be very special”. The ‘Imperial Wedding’ collection drips with an elegant influence and the Imperial Morganite has a unique colour and timeless vibrance. The stunning pink hues sparkle in wonderment, making the stone an instant success for bridal jewellery. The design lends itself to the natural beauty of Imperial Morganite and accents of princess cut diamonds finish off the jewellery perfectly. The second wedding collection from Fameo is the ‘Tsarina’ collection and inspiration comes from the last Empress of Russia. Tsarina is the term used for a Czar’s wife and the last Empress of Russia was Tsarina Alexandra. She was the granddaughter of Queen Victoria of England, and the sister of Grand Duchess Elizabeth, who also became a Holy Martyr in Russia, the wife of His Imperial Majesty Tsar Nicholas II. This jewellery collection is designed in mind of Tsarina’s life, where the pearl represents Tsarina and the golden cage represents her life in confinement and the diamonds represent her family and what they meant to her. Each golden enclosure of the jewellery embraces pinkish pearls, no other stone or metal has captivated people more than the pearl, a gem that is beautiful and elegant, a true gift of nature. The finest quality pearls have been highly valued as gemstones and objects of beauty for many centuries, and the pearl has become a representative for something rare, fine, and admirable. Louise Davies, comments, “The intricate and luxurious design of the collection inspires excitement and confidence every bride deserves to have on her special day”. Fameo will be expanding it’s bridal collection and dedicating a section on the website purely for the wedding market. Showcasing the ‘Imperial Wedding and ‘Tsarina’ collection initially, with new collections added throughout the year. # # # Well established online British jeweller Fameo brings together an exquisite range of fine jewellery at exceptional value.
