By: XIOS Authentic Greek Cuisine Money for Childhood Cancer Research Dozens to shave heads bald for Pediatric Cancer Dozens of men and women are expected to shave their heads bald to show solidarity to children with cancer and to raise money for childhood cancer research on Saturday, September 13th at XIOS Authentic Greek Cuisine in Apex. Those shaving their heads will be enthusiastically cheered on by crowds of friends, celebrity barbers, doctors, family, nurses, children and others who have been touched by cancer to further awareness to the fact that pediatric cancer, the #1 disease killer of children, is terribly under-funded. Fun and free activities for the entire family include clowns, magicians, face painters, balloon animals, and special appearances by your favorite RailHawks Soccer players and their mascot, Swoops.
