Aug. 1, 2008 - PRLog -- Daryn Kagan presents a video interview on DarynKagan.com with author and pilot Mark Hoog who discusses The Growing Field book series, which is dedicated to the memory of his friend and mentor, Jason Dahl, who was flying as Captain on United Flight 93 that went down in a field in western Pennsylvania on the morning of Sept. 11, 2001.  Each book in the series is designed to capture children’s attention and interest and help them build leadership capabilities, self-confidence, self-esteem, power of confirmation and positive self-image.

Hoog’s books also inspire children to discover their own unique talents and encourage them to use their gifts to change the world.  The first book in The Growing Field series is Your Song, which teaches children to look within to find their special gifts, talents, and self-esteem; the second book is Dream Machine, which encourages children to dream big, and make their dreams come true.
