Consumers in New Hampshire, Thank Dryer Vent Wizard for Encouraging Public Awareness in Fire Safety

According to Dryer Vent Wizard, in addition to being a fire hazard, clogged dryer vents cost consumers $18 - $24 per month.  It is not normal for a dryer to take several cycles to properly dry clothes.  When drying time is longer than normal, this may be a sign that the lint screen or the exhaust duct is blocked.  Dryer Vent Wizard advises consumers to try removing the dryer vent tubing while drying one or two loads of laundry to see if drying time improves, to test for a venting problem being the likely cause.
