Follow on Google News | Introduction to Kingian Nonviolence Conflict ReconciliationWisdom House Retreat and Conference Center will sponsor “Introduction to Kingian Nonviolence Conflict Reconciliation” from 7 pm Friday, September 19th to 1 pm Sunday, September 21st.
By: Jo-Ann Iannotti, OP The weekend program will be conducted by Victoria Christgau, a certified Kingian nonviolence trainer. Participants will learn ways of reversing violence through conflict reconciliation management, mediation and arbitration based on Martin Luther King’s philosophy, his Six Principles of Nonviolence and salient points of his campaigns. Ms. Christgau is founder/director of the Connecticut Center for Nonviolence, a Martin Luther King, Jr. Institute. She will be joined by Fre Atlast and other Kingian Nonviolence trainers certified from the Center for Nonviolence and Peace Studies at the University of Rhode Island. See www.ctnonviolence.org.
