The Original Long Beach Lobster Festival Comes to the Rainbow Lagoon September 5 – 7

Aug. 30, 2008 - PRLog -- LOS ANGELES, CA-  O Entertainment, Inc., Southern California’s largest festival producer,  today announced the Original Long Beach Lobster Festival will take place at the Rainbow Lagoon in Long Beach on September 5th, 6th and 7th, 2008.   The festival will feature fresh, live Maine lobster, flown in nightly from the icy waters of the Atlantic Ocean.  Bristol Farms Master Chef Bruce Jacobs and crew will prepare and serve the lobsters, steamed to mouth-watering perfection in the world’s largest lobster steamers.  

Hours:  Friday, September 5th:  5pm - 11pm,  
Saturday, September 6th: 12noon – 12 Midnight and
Sunday, September 7th:  12noon - 10pm.

The Long Beach Lobster Festival Feast includes; Your choice of a 1.25 lb. or 2 lb. lobster, melted butter dipping sauce, fresh cut lemons, coleslaw, dinner roll and watermelon.  
To add to the excitement of the new location in Long Beach, organizers have created a special contest to name the male and female lobster mascots of the event.  With the purchase of pre-sale admission tickets, contestants will be invited to participate in the naming contest- where 5 lbs. of Free lobster will be given away to 6 lucky winners.  
The Original Long Beach Lobster Festival also features an international food court with favorites like ribs, chicken, Jamaican, Asian fusion, arts & crafts booths, delicious desserts, beer & wine, and themed drinks.  Children will love the storytellers, magicians and inflatable bounces.

Friday, September 5th:   Eric E. Ensemble, the TN Band and Eddie Baytos and the Nervis Bros. Parade.

Saturday, September 6th:   Joe Houston performing with Eddie Estudillo & “Hush”, Pamela Clay as “Edith Piaf”, T Wisdom, Bob’s Yer Uncle, and CalJam.

Sunday, September 7th:   Brazilian Independence day-  Lula Almeida & Afro Brazil, Eddie Baytos as the “CarnieGras”, Decades 70’s/80’s dance band, Jumpin J Band, FT Swing Band, and the  Bobby Matos Latin Jazz Band.
