PhotographyCorner.com Announces the Winner of Contest Corner Challenge#55: The Face of Education

Sept. 8, 2008 - PRLog -- Photography Corner ( www.PhotographyCorner.com ) has announced that Christi Battrick is the winner of the site’s latest Contest Corner Challenge, and as such has been awarded a year of free web hosting provided by XLD Studios.  The recent challenge asked photographers to capture something that depicts the theme of 'education.  PhotographyCorner.com began offering Contest Corner Challenges in July 2004, and new challenges are issued every 3 weeks throughout the year.

With just under 30% of the votes from a total of fifteen qualifying submissions, Christi won the recent photography challenge CCC#55: The Face of Education with her work showcasing a dark room with an apple sitting on an empty school desk.  This is the first Contest Corner Challenge win accomplished by Christi Battrick.

Contest Corner Challenges at www.PhotographyCorner.com are issued to site members in the community’s forum and on the Corner Blog (http://www.photographycorner.com/blog).  Only Premiere Members of Photography Corner (requires a yearly or lifetime subscription) are eligible to win some of the bigger prizes, but all members of the site are always invited to submit photographs to the contest, and all have a chance to wins prizes in each contest.  Everyone is invited to participate in the five-day voting window to vote on contest winners and discuss submissions after they have all been received.
