By: DineSXM NV Explaining the benefits of his company's new service, John de Vroom of DineSXM NV says that "When people book their table online, there's no need to search for a restaurant's phone number anymore. There's also no more frustration with unanswered calls, busy signals or lost reservations." Nearly 40 island favorites, including places such as Bamboo Bernie's, Peg Leg Pub, Sopranos, The Ocean Lounge and Fusion on the Dutch side, or La Vie en Rose, Brasserie de la Gare, and La Petite Auberge des Iles on the French side have started taking online reservations since the site launched in February 2008. While the first fifty restaurants can join at no cost, DineSXM will soon start charging a fee for new additions. About ten more free spots are left. The company only charges its restaurants a small fee for each person who books through the DineSXM website. Liesa Euton, owner of Los Gauchos Argentine Grill, was among the first restaurateurs to join in. Touting the advantages of being listed on DineSXM, she mentions: "Many of our guests want to find out about restaurants before they come down on vacation. Taking reservations through the web is a useful extra service that has been easy for us to offer. Since joining in March, we also received many exciting reviews from DineSXM visitors. This sort of customer feedback is important for us, we want to make sure that our guests stay satisfied with our restaurant, the food and service." In little more than six months since its initial launch, DineSXM has risen to the top of search engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN. With over 50,000 pages viewed by 12,000 visitors, the site at http://www.dinesxm.com is quickly becoming one of the island's main resources on dining information. Restaurant owners who would like to find out more are invited to contact John de Vroom at info@dinesxm.com or by phone at +599 545-2256. # # # DineSXM lets residents and visitors of St. Maarten / St. Martin find their favorite restaurants and book their table online ahead of time.
