A Celebrated Comeback:Singer/Songwriter Marcus Parrish Returns To Performance After Recovery

The Los Angeles based musician has two upcoming, local, shows and will embark on a nation-wide tour beginning in March 2009.

Sept. 26, 2008 - PRLog -- It’s been 10 years since his last appearance at any music venue in the greater Los Angeles, California area.  Marcus Parrish, an early member of the pop-punk band, The Offspring, has spent the last several years unable to perform due to complications from medication based diabetes and other health issues.  Due to diligent and supportive help from doctors, friends and family, Mr. Parrish has his health back and is thrilled to be able to perform again.  Parrish has written, produced and recorded 7 full length albums, all of which will be available at his concerts.

“It’s been a long time coming”, Parrish said.  “For years, I was doubtful that I would ever be able to play again.  It’s great to be back!  I didn’t waste my time recovering.  I’ve been writing songs Lots of them!  Hopefully people will gain strength of their own from my experience.  My fans deserve it.  They were wonderfully supportive during the down time.”  Thank you!"

Film-maker, Angela Stablein, of D&A Films, is acting as Parrish’s interim manager while details are put in place for permanent representation.   "We are planning on a big show in New York City in March at The Cutting Room.  It’s a sweet venue!  A documentary is also in the works.  This cat has had one heck of an interesting life!"
