Joe Sernio - Rising Star

I’ve worked with Joe Sernio for about one year now, and in my opinion he IS a rising star!  You will read his bio, and yes, his story is moving.  But I want to tell you about Joe the way I see him.

Joe Sernio has been our IT specialist at Currents Magazine (I am the editor), and while he does a fine job here at the magazine, I can see that he is meant to be elsewhere.

Joe has a calm reserve about him that is found in great actors.  When problems arise at the office, his cool temperament prevails, crisis averted, and all is well.  I believe this is a combination of his natural ability to “go with the flow” and his training as an actor to handle any situation and think quickly on his feet.

This “reserve” also holds the strength and character that is the essence of the stage and movies…he has it.  And you can see the power in his character in all that he’s done, particularly in Roadhouse…my personal favorite.

Please give serious consideration to this nomination, as there is no one more deserving than Joe Sernio for this award.
