Christofle Plans for Three New Boutiques in 2009


October 8, 2008 (New York, NY): As the year winds to an end, the foremost leader in fine silver craft, Christofle Silver, Inc, finds itself preparing to make its mark in three of the biggest, trendiest, and most cosmopolitan cities in the U.S. The nearly 200 year old company is set to take 2009 by storm with plans for new stores in Boston, Atlanta, and Las Vegas, the first openings since 2000.  

The North American subsidiary of Christofle will kick off its latest additions in January 2009 with a new boutique in Boston, MA. Located at 296 Boylston St, the Christofle boutique is set in the epicenter of the city’s most sophisticated shopping district.

Later in the year, Christofle will open an Atlanta location at the Streets of Buckhead. An appropriate setting for trendsetters and luxury consumers, the shops and restaurants at Buckhead are a haven for celebrities, Forbes 400 business leaders, and the crème de la crème of high society.  Lastly, a highly anticipated Las Vegas boutique will follow near the end of 2009.  At present, Christofle is in the advanced stages of discussion as to the details of the new store.

Prior to the new store developments, Christofle initiated an intensive series of renovations for all of its locations in 2007. Within two years, six U.S. Christofle stores have already undergone renovations, the latest being a 600 sq ft, newly renovated Chicago location that will feature brand-new, custom-made flooring, lighting, and fixtures.

The new boutiques and continued renovations speak to the company’s continued success as business has seen a year to date increase of 21%. The anticipated openings also reflect Christofle’s enduring standing as one of the leaders in luxury goods as well as its dedication to elegance, style and sophistication.
