System enhancements include an improved message center, customized iPhone interface, drop down tabs for easier access to site content, streamlined profile pages that contain more links to user content, and full OpenSocial Support. OpenSocial enables members of Triangle TRACKS to add a variety of new applications to their profile pages, such as Emotes, GroupCard and PollDaddy. All of these enhancements further improve and simplify usage of Triangle TRACKS. In addition to the new features and enhancements, Triangle TRACKS has added several new pages, including Game TRACKS, Movie TRACKS, Charity TRACKS and Special Needs TRACKS. The Outdoor TRACKS page now links to local farms offering children’s activities, and the Health and Fitness TRACKS page now links to local sports medicine offices. Currently, Triangle TRACKS consolidates 1,780 links to local resources for children in Wake, Durham, Orange and Chatham counties. Content focuses on education, museum exhibits, parks, youth sports, camps, music lessons, art lessons, performing arts studios, party venues, amusement centers, restaurants, childcare facilities, healthcare resources, children’s trends and much more.
