Horse riding in the Negev : Sde Boker Trails.

Short trips for two pax with little or no previous riding experience:

*  Negev Moon ride: to see the desert landscape illuminated by moon light is an unforgettable experience.  

*Ride in the Nahal Boker region, ancient agriculture, cistern mountain and valley vistas.  

*Extended trek  with a panoramic view of the Tzin valley and Sde Boker region &  including  picnic lunch  .



Full Day Negev Horse Rides:

*Ride to the Nabatean town of Shivta ,part of the Spice Route ,a recognized UNESCO World Heritage site ,via the biblical Besor riverbed and Nahal Mesira with its agricultural terraces and Spina Christi trees, Boker ridge rocky terrain and beautiful panoramas of the surroundings. Tour includes lunch .


*Ride to dam along the Boker vineyard, Nahal Noked with its beautiful Negev acacia trees and ancient agricultural terraces,visit the First Temple period settlement along the biblical mountain road on to Nahal Hatsatz &  the old patrol road to the Tzin plain with spectacular views and back through Nahal Haroa. Tour includes lunch .


*Ride  along the biblical Nahal  Besor and Nahal Tziporim to Mt. Arkuv, Nahal Avdat with its impressive ancient agriculture, dams, terraces and tour  the Nabatean city of Avdat, part of the Spice Route and a UNESCO World Heritage site, visit the Ramalia cisterns and return via the Halukim ridge. Tour includes lunch .

Overnight rides with accommodation options of camping out under the stars  ,Bedouin tent lodging or  Bed& Breakfast options .

All tours can be custom designed from a combination of the above trails ,accommodation options and meals -whether camping out or in local restaurants or zimmers.

All rides are led by  a qualified  Wingate Institute riding instructor who is also a licensed tour guide .

Horse & equipment,helmet & insurance ,camping equipment,sleeping bags,camping meals and first aid are all supplied .
