Caribbean Investment Insights to be Presented at Global Property Conference

Solutions for Global Credit Crunch at the Largest Overseas Property Investment Exhibition held in London, November 25-26th.

Nov. 5, 2008 - PRLog -- In the midst of the current global credit crunch, property professionals are seeking to charter their way into new territory. Industry leaders are eager to create new opportunities and make even smarter investments in the climate of financial caution. As a result, registration for the fourth annual OPPLive conference in London, Nov 25-26th, is exceeding previous years. Delegates are already signing up for the presentation by Caribbean Land and Property and Caribpro that promises to offer insights into the emerging Caribbean development industry and strategic ways to maximize financial assets in the region.

Caribbean Land and Property and Caribpro are both strong and growing companies within the region and together offer the largest range of online real estate investment services in the Caribbean and Central America. Their seminar entitled ‘Profitable Possibilities and Partners in the Caribbean’ will highlight the new opportunities that exist for both local agents and international partners in an exciting combination of real estate and offshore asset protection possibilities, including economic citizenship. The session is hosted by Manager of Caribbean Land and Property Financial Services, Katie Sosna and International Real Estate Consultant, Jason Kumpf, both of whom bring years of experience based professional expertise to the conference.

Outlining the value of the session Katie explains that, “In addition to the developing real estate market in the Caribbean, there are other significant options for clients looking to make an investment that will result in both economic and personal gains. In particular I will be talking about economic citizenship which is not that well known but has many advantages. With only two Caribbean countries still offering this programme, I think it’s important that those who can benefit from it come and find out more while it lasts.” The seminar will be held on 26th November from 11:00-12:00 in Theatre 3 and as spaces are already filling fast, it is recommended that participants sign up as soon as possible.

The economic citizenship programmes run by the governments of Dominica and the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis are a legal way to obtain an alternative citizenship. The two countries continue to host the programmes to attract international investment and boost their sources of revenue but it is uncertain how long they will continue. The other economic citizenship programmes that were previously available in the region from Grenada and Belize were closed in 2001 and 2002 respectively. This was partly due to a lapse in diligent monitoring that led to an abuse of the system. Both Dominica and St Kitts & Nevis have employed rigorous screening process through an international agency to ensure that only legitimate and honest people are offered a second passport.

With a solid financial background and a track record of satisfied clients, Katie is working closely with the Dominican government and appointed citizenship lawyers in St Kitts & Nevis. She supports clients in choosing the right program for their needs and offers a secure and professional way to negotiate the economic citizenship application process. In addition to the economic citizenship program, Caribbean Land and Property Financial Services also offer services in International Business Company formation, Offshore Banking and Mortgages. Katie will be available at the end of the seminar for a question and answer session on these subjects and will also be present throughout the conference for networking.

The OPPLive conference is key event in the property industry calendar and is attended by International Real Estate Agents and Developers, Financial Advisers, Banks and Brokers, Property Lawyers, PR & Marketing Specialists, Media Owners, Fund Managers & large portfolio Investors. The 2 day event held at the ExCel Centre in London, England, provides a rich opportunity to develop strategic partnerships and alliances. Caribbean Land and Property and Caribpro are proud to be associated with such an event and welcome all delegates to their presentation which will be a valuable part of the conference.
