Nov. 5, 2008 - PRLog -- Karen Flanders is the director of sustainability for the Coca Cola Company.  In this capacity, she is responsible for creating and implementing CSR policies and programs that contribute to sustainable expansion.  Karen works with divisions and bottlers from around the world, drawing on her expertise in global strategies, branding, team building and program development, to successfully integrate change and stimulate growth.  Prior to joining Coca Cola in 2000, Karen managed international advocacy campaigns at the World Wildlife Fund and led environmental and social policy programs for such high profile companies as Mars, McDonalds and L'Oreal. In 2007, Karen was named one of the Top 15 Women in Business by the Forté Foundation and Pink Magazine.  She completed her graduate studies at the College of Europe, earning a master’s degree in advanced European studies, and is an esteemed member of the Michigan School of Natural Resources.  Karen is fluent in English, French and Dutch, active within the community and enjoys reading, travel and outdoor activities.
