Santiago is an urban metropolis with over 5 million people yet it still retains a small town atmosphere especially downtown.
http://www.abroaderview.org/ Santiago’s central location makes it a convenient home base for trips to the north, south, and central coastal regions of Chile. A vibrant and exhilarating city, Santiago is a good place to explore and volunteer; study Spanish and immerse yourself in the Chilean culture.
