Peachtree Hills Place Donates 137 Books to E. Rivers Elementary School

Nov. 6, 2008 - PRLog -- Peachtree Hills Place members donated 137 new books to the E. Rivers Elementary School Library last month. The books mark the 137 reserved Peachtree Hills Place members, which is the halfway reserved milestone for the community. Many Peachtree Hills Place members have personal ties to the elementary school, which is located in the Peachtree Hills neighborhood, less than five minutes from Peachtree Hills Place. The books are illustrative of 22 various character development traits and other learner qualities including: appreciation, empathy, curiosity, commitment, integrity, respect and tolerance; and are part of a new instructional focus at the school.

“These attitudes and learner profiles under gird our instruction framework at E. Rivers,” said David White, Principal of E. Rivers Elementary School. “We strive to provide our students with the best resources and materials available and Peachtree Hills Place’s tremendous donation helps us meet that goal, and we are extremely appreciative of their support.”
